Basic Job Description

• Escorting the groups from their point of origin to their final tour destination
• Assisting with all activities, shuttles, and events of the tour while on destination
• Provide area information as well as safety and activity briefings for all clients
• Helping to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all travellers throughout their tour
• Working closely with all Breakaway Tours staff and suppliers

Requirements

• Attendance at our mandatory pre-trip training session
• Breakaway Tours experience is an asset, but not necessary
• Responsible individual who can manage their time and work as a team
• The ability to be professional and conduct themselves accordingly while representing Breakaway Tours
• Must be able to follow all instructions and guidelines as provided to you
• Willing to learn, cooperate, and get involved on destination
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Graduated from High School and currently enrolled or Graduated from College/University
• Strong interest in the student travel market and understands this is a volunteer position
• Leadership experience is an asset!!! (Frosh/Orientation Leader, Residence Advisor, Coaching and Camp Counsellor experience are all suitable forms of relevant leadership experience)
